The Authors

Joran Slane Oppelt

Joran is an international speaker, author, and consultant with certifications in coaching, storytelling, design thinking, and virtual facilitation. 

He began his consulting career in 2015 at a corporate innovation consultancy specializing in visual solutions and change management. He is a master facilitator who leads game-changing meetings for clients and an executive coach who has helped shape strategies in technology, finance, software, sport, and healthcare. 

Geoffrey Nelson

Geoff Nelson never meant to be a facilitator. His ambitions have swung from garbage man to astronaut, professor to welder, artist to pressman. Never did he think he’d be creating environments and experiences that lead others to great personal and professional success. Life, as John Lennon said, is what happens while you’re making other plans.

When he’s not teaching facilitation or facilitating, Geoff is illustrating, writing, doing DIY projects, or traveling with his family. If he can get away with it, he plays Dungeons & Dragons.
